WELCOME TO
SPEAKEASY TATTOO
& SPEAKEASY TV
Speakeasy Tattoo is a queer owned tattoo shop that has been operating since 2009 in downtown Toronto, Canada. Our artists are here to give you an excellent tattoo experience without the stress and fear sometimes associated with the tattoo environment.
We tattoo most days of the week, and when we are not working, our studio doubles as a content creation studio for the queer and drag community of the city. Thanks to pandemic resourcefulness, we now have a fully functioning broadcasting studio where we host a range of talent from DJ's to public speakers.
NOW OPEN 6 DAYS OF THE WEEK!

ARTISTS

Lizzie Renaud (she/her)
Lizzie has been tattooing professionally in Toronto and internationally since 2003, and opened Speakeasy Tattoo in July of 2009. She is proficient in all styles of work and specializes in illustrated portraiture, bold designs, bright colors and black and grey. Lizzie books approximately 6 weeks in advance.
Matthew Simas (he/him)
Matt has been tattooing professionally for 2 years, and has worked freelance in the arts for many years prior to his apprenticeship. Matt is a skilled portrait artist and a talented tattooer in all styles.
Brit Ellis (she/they)
Brit has worked on our team for nearly 4 years, first as a cosmetic tattooer and now in the capacity of a traditional tattooer. Brit's style is influenced by pop culture and cult media, and produces lots of flash designs to choose from. Brit is also a renowned beadwork artist which lends to her attention to detail.
Cassaundra (she/her)
Cassaundra is our shop management. She is the first person you'll meet at Speakeasy and will always work to make sure you're all set for your bookings. Cassaundra does stand up comedy in the city and takes care of the staff very well!
Allysin Chaynes is a powerhouse drag performer who is currently completing her apprenticeship for tattooing. She can be found working the counter.
